Had an appointment at 8am. Stretched my legs walking around at 9:15 saw my car still in parking place. Not in shop yet. Went to service manager to complain about taking people with no appointment before me. At 10:35 service writer told me they were waiting on spark plugs. Right. Why make an appointment if you are not going to honor times. I can give my $500 to someone who honor's my time.

I did something I normally don’t do! I didn’t have an appointment! I was there to pick up my wife’s GMC and I needed to get my oil changed so they told me they had a couple ahead of me but would be glad to do it. They were finished in about an hour which to me is great service. I have always had service with them I have never carried our vehicles anywhere else. Great customer service and wonderful people to work with! I can’t say enough about their customer service!

On October 23, 2025 we were traveling from Jacksonville Florida on our way to Millington Tn. We just gassed up and were in the Graysville Al area. Our 2024 Chevy Silverado started bucking and sputtering with the dashboard going crazy. We made it safely to the shoulder and tried to start the vehicle. Negative. We assessed the situation and I called AAA while my wife Cheryl looked for a Dealership close by. I finally got a tow truck on the way and my wife called one dealership and was met with a negative tone and outlook. The AAA gentleman suggested contacting Dewey Barber Chevrolet. We are so glad we did. My wife talked with DJ Barber and explained the situation. It was getting later in the day so we started discussing lodging/ uber or rental cars etc. We kept DJ in the loop on our tow truck arrival status. He told my wife we will wait with a service tech until you get here. And based on your description we may have an idea of what is going on with your vehicle. We said a prayer. When the tow truck arrived we let DJ know. He assured us he'd be there. When we finally arrived we were met by both DJ and David- the service tech. We were elated. Within a few minutes of getting the vehicle off the tow truck, we heard a truck start. I looked at my wife and said is that our truck?? It was. A bad fuel pump module was the culprit. I cannot begin to tell you how happy we were with the service we received from your dealership. It was beyond going the extra mile to help out a customer, it was a blessing -nothing short of a miracle. In this day and age of nobody caring and "we can't get to you until Monday mentality" your dealership was quite the opposite, determined to get us back up and on our way as soon as possible.
